DIFFERENT FORMS OF SPONSORSHIP
Financial sponsorship
For a business, to give a sum of money to an organization is the easiest way to sponsor. It can be cash donations (check, transfers, etc.), regular dues or grants. In some specific cases of sponsorship, a contract between the sponsor and the beneficiary is necessary.
Sponsorship in kind or in goods
A company can propose goods that it has or that it produces:
- donation of property: a vehicle, property, material...
- furnishing stock merchandise: information support...
- services: repair work, maintenance, printing...
Sponsorship in competencies
The business can make one or more collaborators available to the organization, in the framework of a loan of personnel or a service provided freely. The business acts within its field of expertise and concretely participates in an operation or a project: accounting, information, computer graphics, etc.
Technological and scientific sponsorship
This consists of mobilising the know-how, the skill of a business in the benefit of the partners. The business freely brings its know-how to resolve problems or develop projects.
“The freedom to undertake is the force of sponsorship.”
